Funeral service for Al McArthur age 68 of Wilson who died Monday, Aug. 16 will be held Thursday at 1 pm at Simon Grove Holiness Church 4334 Hwy 42 East,Wilson. Bishop Herbert Williams, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Survivors are his children, Elgin Jerome McArthur, Terri McArthur Bynum (Jimmy) both of Wilson, Al Sharieff McArthur of Raleigh, NC and Sherri McArthur Clemmons(Tony) of Tampa, Fla; a special and dear friend, Angela Mitchell of Wilson; grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Wednesday from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home with the family receiving friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
