Albert Lee Alston, Sr.

Mr. Albert Lee Alston, Sr., age 85, of 4512 Chippenham Court, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.  A celebration of his life and legacy will be Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 2 pm at St. Mark Apostolic Holiness Church, 6328 Radiotower Rd., Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in the St. Mark Church Cemetery.

Loving and lasting memories are left to be cherished by his loving wife, Linda Boddie Alston; five devoted children, Minnie Barnes (Joseph), Belinda Boddie-Dickens, Mary Alston-Edwards (Ryan), Albert Alston Jr. (Geannette), and Ezekiel Charles Alston; two brothers, Lonnie Alstom (Lucille) of Wilson, North Carolina and Henry Alston of Ashbury Park, New Jersey; two sisters, Margaret Alston and Linda Meeks both of Ashbury Park, New Jersey; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 1 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.
