Albert Lee "Nub" Ellis

Funeral service for Mr. Albert Lee "Nub" Ellis age 64 a resident of Avante Nursing Home who died Sunday at Wilson Medical Center will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 1004 Railroad St, Wilson. Elder Marvin Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Nub was the son of Jessie and Alberta Adams Ellis.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Ellis of Wilson, NC; his daughters, Wanda Delris Sanders Jones and Veronica Sanders Jones of Wilson, NC and Sabrina Edwards of Snow Hill, NC; his son, Albert Dickerson of Clayton, NC; three sisters, Marjorie hargett (Ralph) and Peggy Taylor of Wilson and Loretta Johnson (David) of Conneticut; two brothers, Ronnie Eason of Wilson, NC and Napoleon Ellis (Yvette) of New Haven, Conneticut; three aunts, Lucy mae Blount and Annie Speight of Wilson, NC and Dorothy Ward of Alexandria, VA; three special brothers, James Lewis of Baltimore, MD, Darryl Sanders and Johnnie Sanders of Wilson, NC; his caregiver, Wanda Edwards of Wilson, NC; six stepdaughters, two stepsons, fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at other times at 307 Maplewood Ave, Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
