Alberta Perkins Carmon

Alberta Perkins Carmon age 53 of 230 Holmes Lane, Stantonsburg passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Vidant Hospice Center, Greenville,North Carolina.
Alberta was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Annie Lee Speight Perkins. She attended the Greene County Public Shools where she graduated from Greene Central High School in 1977. Alberta was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will certainly be missed by all who loved her.
Left to remember Alberta with love, joy and thankfulness are her daughters, LaAdrianna Perkins and Aisha Perkins (Willie) of Stantonsburg, NC; her sons, Ernest Perkins (Amy) of Pikeville, NC and Keonn Perkins (Tanya) of Atlanta, GA; her sisters, Annie Hines and Gloria Perkins of Walstonburg, NC and Mary Jenkins of Wilson, NC; her brothers, Lynwood Perkins, Carlton Perkins and Ervin Perkins of Walstonburg, NC, Artis Perkins of Stantonsburg, NC, James Perkins of Snow Hill, NC and Joseph Perekins of Wilson, NC; her gandchildren, Armauhnd, Armani, Kendell, Kaleb and Brianna of Stantonsburg, NC; sixteen nieces, nine nephews, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including four special friends, Phyllis Perkins, Emma Horne, Joyce Jefferson and Wanda Carmon who was also a god sister.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 pm at Contending for the Faith Church Ministries 1006 Academy St, Wilson. Dr. Mickie Williams will officiate. Private interment will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 pm to 8 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. They will receive friends at other times at 230 Holmes Ln, Stantonsburg and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
