Alesia Bonita Ward, 49, of 9801 Virginia Centerway Place, Apt. T-01, formerly of Wilson, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Contending for the Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy St., Wilson. Elder Damieon Royal will officiate.
Loving memories are cherished by her daughters, Keshania W. King (Anthony) and KeKe Cox, all of Richmond, Virginia; her father, Ashley Townsend of Wilson; two sisters, Vivian Ward and Pamela Ward, both of Wilson; three brothers, Troy Townsend (Donna), Roy Townsend (Marion), all of Lexington, Kentucky, and Christopher Townsend (Yolanda) of Travelers, South Carolina; seven grandchildren; five aunts; seven uncles; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 1022 Robert Road, Wilson, and will assemble there at noon on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carrons Funeral Home, 325 E. Nash St., Wilson. Condolences may be directed to www.carronsfuneralhome.com.
