Funeral service for Alvin Williams age 63 of 103 Lilli Rd, Swansboro, NC formerly of Wilson who died Sunday will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Rountree Missionary Baptist Church 2110 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson. The Rev. Steven Kent will officiate. Interment is to follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Alvin is survived by his mother, Estelle Barnes Rhoades (Charlie) of Wilson, NC; his sisters, Diane Williams of Wilson, NC and Iris Williams of Palmetto, FL; his brother, Anthony Williams of Roanoke, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 5 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Rhoades 3158-A Old Stantonsburg Rd, Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
