Andrew Woodard, Sr.

Deacon Andrew Woodard, Sr., age 98, of 60 Woodard Sutton Dr., Walstonburg, NC transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, December 27, 2021.  A celebration of his life and legacy will be Friday at 11 am at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson.  Bishop Willie Thomas will deliver the eulogy, and Rev. Jimmy Williams will preside.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.

A public viewing will be Thursday from 3 pm to 4:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson.  An inspirational wake will follow on Thursday from 6 pm to 7 pm at St. Luke Church, 311 Church St., Stantonsburg, NC.  The family is receiving friends at 803 Viola St., Wilson and will assemble there at 10 am on Friday in preparation for the funeral procession.
