Funeral service for Barbara Jean Taylor age 49 of 2204 Mossy Cup Ln, Fayetteville formerly of Wilson who died Monday will be held Saturday at 1 PM at Christ Temple of Praise Church 305 West Green St, Wilson. The Rev. Kenneth Taylor will be the eulogist and Overseer Michael Ellerbee will preside. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.

Barbara was the daughter of Raymond Taylor and the late Esther Pearl Farmer Taylor.

Barbara leaves to remember her with love and joy two sons,Tyquan Taylor (Tara) of Elgin, SC and Vincent Taylor of the home; her father, Raymond Taylor of High Point, NC; one sister, Linda Faye McNeil (Ricky) of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, Rev. Kenneth Taylor (Michelle) of High Point, NC; three grandchildren, ShyQuan Long, Tyshiem Taylor and Tyler Taylor all of Elgin, SC; six aunts, Mary Frederick, Elouise Overton (Douglas), Bertha Farmer and Emma McIver (Charles) all of Wilson, Virginia Farmer of Washington, DC and Grace Taylor of High Point, NC; six uncles, James Lee Anderson, Willie Anderson (Towanda) both of Wilson, David Anderson (Vickie) of Elgin, SC, Alexander Farmer of Saratoga, John H. Farmer of Maryland and Wiley Farmer of New Jersey; four nephews, Terrell Taylor and Quinton Taylor both of High Point, NC, Garath Taylor and Melvin Crosby both of Fayetteville; a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday from 2 PM to 7 PM at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon to 1 PM at Christ Temple of Praise. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Douglas Overton 1616 Freeman St, Wilson and will assemble there at 11 AM in preparation for the funeral procession.
