Funeral service for Bennie James Carlton age 68 of Brooklyn, NY formerly of Wilson who died Friday, July 9 will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Carrons Funeral Home 325 East Nash St, Wilson. Rev. Dianne Dew will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 5:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence of his sister, Ellen Melton 1701 London Rd, Wilson.
