Brenda Faye Cameron Ochoa, daughter of Frankie Lee Cameron, Sr. and Elaine Williams Cameron was born on June 18, 1970 in Wilson, North Carolina. On Sunday, January 27, 2013, God called her home to her eternal rest.
Brenda spent her formative years in Wilson where she attended the Wilson County Public Schools. She later migrated to Durham, NC where she spent the last years of her life.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Brenda was passionate about life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She was preceded in death by her father and her grandfather, Jessie James Williams. Her sweet humble spirit will truly be missed by all whom loved her.
Loving memories are cherished by her husband, Walter Geovani Ochoa of the home; her daughter, Tatiana Ochoa of Durham, NC; her sons, Tyrell Cameron and Walter Ochoa, Jr. of Durham, NC; her mother, Elaine Williams Cameron of Elm City, NC; one sister, Kathy Castro (Luis) of Bailey, NC; one brohter, Frankie Lee Cameron, Jr. (Sheila) of Wilson, NC; seven aunts, three uncles, her father-in-law, one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Service celebrating her life will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Wynn's Chapel Church 108 Armstrong St, Elm City, NC. Pastors Frankie Lee Cameron, Jr. and Martin Ordonez will officiate, and Elder Bryant McNeil will preside. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Sharpsburg, NC.
A viewing will be held Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will assemble at Wynn's Chapel Church at 12:30 pm in preparation for the funeral procession.
