Calvin Best Dunston

Mr. Calvin Best Dunston, age 89, of 4601 Mineral Springs Lane, Raleigh formerly of Sims was called to eternal rest on Thursday, August 23, 2018. 

A celebration of his life and legacy will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The Rev. Paul Davis will officiate.  Interment will be held Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mill, Maryland.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family will assemble at Carrons Funeral Home at 6:30 on Tuesday in preparation for the service.  

Precious memories are cherished by his daughter, Sharon Johnson (Jessie) of Baltimore, MD; his son, Charles Richardson (Vonzella) of Baltimore, MD; six sisters, Emma Lee Hinnant, Hattie Odell Dunn both of Bailey, NC, Ruby DeBrill of Raleigh, NC; Aurdell Jones, Phyllis Himes both of Sims, NC, Lillie Allen (Richard Earl) of Wilson, NC and Nora Woodard of Spring Hope, NC: three brothers, Otha Dunn of Norfolk, VA, Harry Dunn of Bailey, NC and Larry Dunn (Gail) of Zebulon, NC; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
