Charleen Finch Huggins

March 24, 1963 — January 7, 2011

Funeral service for Mrs. Charleen Finch Huggins age 47 of 6601 Speight School Rd, Wilson who died Friday at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville will be held Saturday at 11 am at Holy Temple Church of Deliverance 383 Speights Bridge Rd, Walstonburg. Rev. Joey Lee Baker will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Charleen was the daughter of Charlie Finch and the late Essie Mae Vail Finch. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Holy Temple where she worked diligently in many organizations, including Praise and Worship Team, Church Secretary, Pastor Love Service and the Youth Department. Her kind sweet spirit will be missed by all who loved her.

Left to remember her with love are her husband, Dennis Ray Huggins of Wilson; one son, Marion Antwan Huggins of the home; her father, Charlie Finch of the home; one stepdaughter, Tammy Parker of Wilson; three sisters, Delba Edwards (William), Diana Pender (Harry) and Delois Dale (Kelvin) all of Wilson; four brothers, James Finch (Phyllis) of Charlotte, NC, Charles Finch 9Janet), Joseph Finch (Amy) and Elander Finch (Catherine) all of Wilson;three Godchildren, Sterling Godley, Shaina Godley and Darius Dawson; her Godsister, Hosea Jones of Walstonburg; Godbrother, David Jones of Walstonburg; four aunts, Nellene Vail of Washington, DC, Pauline Allen of Portsmouth, VA, Barbara Jean Battle and Mamie Finch both of Wilson; a special adopted mother and missionary partner, Mother Mamie Ruth Baker; a sister-in-law, Deborah (Eugene); two brothers-in-law, Clinton Huggins and Terrell (Beverly) of Walstonburg; twenty-seven nieces and nephews, twenty-five great nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and dear friends, including Stephanie Gray-Godley, Emma Bullock, Lisa Dawson, Brenda McNair and Mamie Ellis.

A viewing will be held Friday from 2 pm to 5 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 pm to 9 pm at Holy Temple Church of Deliverance 383 Speights Bridge Rd, Walstonburg. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
