Charlene Jones Leake

Charlene Jones Leake age 42 of 708 Graham St, Wilson died Monday. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 pm at Simon Grove Holy Church 4334 NC Hwy 42 East, Wilson. Bishop Herbert Williams, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Charlene was affectionately known to family and friends as "Bunny". She was born in Washington, DC where she spent her formative years. She was gainfully employed with Ms. Daisy's Health Care. Her memory will continue to linger in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Loving memories are cherished by her mother, Helen Best Jones of the home; her children, Lakisha Jones (Anthony), Regional Jones (Shanda), Capresha Jones (Jaima), Reshawn Leake, Latrice Leake, Jahmel Jones and Lil'Charlene Leake all of Wilson, NC; her grandparents, Willie and JoLizzie of Washington, DC; her sisters, Carnita Dublin (Tony), Malisa Jones, Patricia Wiley and Terry Williams (Donell) all of Wilson, NC; her brothers, Cornell Jones, Jr. (Denise) of Maryland, John Jones (Linda) and Rodney Jones (LaShuia) all of Wilson, NC; her grandchildren, Promise, Jahqure, Jazaria and Ivania all of Wilson, NC; her finace, Sammy Thomas of Wilson, NC; five aunts, six uncles, fifteen nieces, eight nephews, a host of great aunts and great uncles; her godsister, Edwina; two special friends, Cleveland Leake and John Little of Wilson, NC; a host of other relatives and many dear friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
