Charles Edward Jones

Charles Edward Jones passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at his residence. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 5 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. Rev. M.K. Smith will officiate. Private interment will be held later.
Charles was the son of the late Johnny and Eliza Theames Jones. He attended Charles H. Darden High School. In addition to his parents preceding him in death were his sisters, Minnie Jones and Mildred Jones.
At an early age he gave his life to Christ and joined Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. His employment history includes Bridgestone Firestone and Tobacco Processors. He will dearly be missed by all who knew him.
Loving memories are cherished by his daughters, Brittany Chanel Jones and Miesha Rene Jones of Wilson, NC; his sisters, Jean Matthews and Brenda Jones-Staggers of Wilson, NC; his brothers, Johnny Jones, Jr. (Virginia) of New York and Luther Jones (Carolyn) of Wilson, NC; four aunts, Regina Royster and Nettie Pindell of Summerton, SC, Annabelle Hobbs and Eunice Jonesof Goldsboro, NC; his uncle, Edward Sabb of Summerton, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 4 pm to 5 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 405 Westover Ave, Wilson and will assemble at the funeral home one hour prior to service in preparation for the service.
