Charlie Dickens, Jr.

Funeral service for Mr. Charlie Dickens age 67 of 1066 Edwards Fork Rd, Scotland Neck who died Sunday at his residence will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church 13668 Old 125 Rd, Scotland Neck. Rev. J.J. Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.

Precious memories are cherished by his wife, Mary Dickens of the home; one daughter, Gwen Dickens-Weaver (Frank) of Wilson; three sons, Charles Dickens, III of Scotland Neck, Bernard Dickens of Wilson and Gregory Dickens of Pikesville, MD; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home and Saturday from 12 noon to 12:45 pm at the church. The family will receive friends at the residence and at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Weaver 2608 Barrington Dr, Wilson. They will assemble at 1066 Edwards Fork Rd, Scotland Neck one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
