Ms. Christine E. "Blondie" McCray, age 63, of Wilson transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 12 noon at the Kairos Worship Ministries, 1009 Lodge Street S, Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family is receiving friends at the residence, 420 Lane Street, Wilson, NC and will assemble there at 11 pm on Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the McCray family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  

Precious memories are cherished by her three sons, Eric Gerald McCray, Quincy McCray (Felicia) and Carlos McCray (Cora) all of Wilson, NC; five sisters, Joyce Parker (Carl) of Newark, NJ, Peggy Joyner, Deborah Liles (Billy Ray), Brenda Liles (Ray), Judy Barnes (Tim) and a special friend who was like a sister, Phyllis Rogers (Tony) all of Wilson, NC; four brothers; James Finch of Washington, DC. Leslie Liles (Joyce), Timothy Liles of Orlando, FL, and Marshall Harris of Greensboro, NC; twenty grandchildren, Erica, Natalya, Eric Jr., Jerrica, Shariah, Azyha, Diakesis, Krisma, Georgia, Erynn, CJ, Carlos Jr., Devontae, Jessica, Antonio, Shereka, Megan, Jasmine, Jordan and Umeke; sixteen great grandchildren; her companion of 40 years, Tom Johnson of Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including two special friends Brenda Bland and Brenda Cook.
