Funeral service for Damon Batts age 82 of 807 Cemetery St, Wilson who died Friday, Aug. 20 will be held Saturday at 2 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. Minister Vivian Langston will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Loving memories are cherished by his daughter, Charlene D. Sanders (Kevin) of Wilson; two sisters, Doris Batts McEachin (James) of Wilson and Sarah Joyner (James) of Newark, NJ; one brother, Charles Batts (Dorothy) of Newark, NJ; his grandchildren, Amber Spinks and Davante Barnes both of Asheboro, NC and Kendra Spinks of Fayetteville, NC; his great grandson, Elijah H. Sanders of Wilson; three stepsons, Ronald Little, Stanley Li8ttle and Roderick Little all of Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Cigar.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
