Ms. Donna Marie "Shug" Freeman, age 66, of 1416 Branch Street, Apt. A, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal life on Thursday, march 12, 2026.  Funeral service will be Thursday, Mar. 26, 2026 at 1 pm at Wave Church, 5334 Lamm Rd., Wilson, NC.  Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College St., Wilson, NC.   

An inspirational wake will be Wednesday, Mar. 25, 2026 from 6 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. A public viewing will be Thursday, Mar. 26, 2026 from 12 pm to 1 pm at the church. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 12 pm on Thursday in preparation for the funeral procession.
