Edith Ree Barham Allen

Ms. Edith Ree Barham Allen, age 91, of 1816-A Butterfield Lane, Wilson transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, June 12, 2020.  A celebration of her life and legacy will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Robert King, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Carrons Funeral Home, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.  Evangelist Geraldine Whitley will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery, Wilson.

Precious memories are forever cherished by her two daughters, Minnie R. Foreman and Grace Horton who was her caretaker both of Wilson, NC; one sister, Mary Whack of Selma, NC; two brothers, James Curry and Walter Curry of Wilson, NC; eight grandchildren, Timothy Coleman (Doris), Ricky Coleman (Annie), Stephanie Coleman (Robert), Sheila Barham, Daniel Barham (Ayishe), Terry Foreman (Angie), Shamona Foreman (Antwan) and Stacy Foreman (Sheila); an adopted sister, Bernice Graham;  a host of great friends including a very, very special friend, Adock Kent.
