Elder James Earl Neal age 58 of 706 Parker St, Elm City passed away on Sunday, July 17 at his residence. He was born in Wilson, NC to the late Early T. and Dorothy Mae Darden Neal. Assistant pastor of Wilson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church 513 East Barnes St, Wilson, Elder Neal was a very faithful and dedicated member. He was a recently retired educator with the Wilson County Public Schools where he taught for several years at E.T. Beddingfield High School.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle 1800 Lane St Ext, Wilson. Bishop Robert Gorham will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.
A viewing will be held Friday from 2 pm to 5 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 pm to 9 pm at Wilson Chapel Church. They will receive friends at other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
