Erma Jean Watson Hall

October 25, 1946 — February 26, 2012

On Sunday, February 26, 2012 God in His infinite wisdom and unfailing power called Erma Jean Watson Hall home to eternal rest. Jean as she was affectionately known was born to the late William H. and Hazel G. Moore Scarborough in Wilson, North Carolina on October 25, 1946.

Jean was a dedicated employee of Wilson Assisted Living Nursing Home for many years. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to remember her with love are her husband, John W. Hall of Stantonsburg, NC; her stepmother, Mattie Scarborough of Wilson, NC; her loving daughters and sons, Jacqueline G. Allen, Jerome Watson (Annette) and Jeanette Watson all of Wilson, NC and Cheryl Watson of Greenville, NC; her sisters, Mary Hall (William), Joyce Liles (Leslie), Patricia Hutcherson (Claudie), Minister Barbara Allen, Patricia Artis (Marvin) and Myra Applewhite (Arthur) all of Wilson, NC and Rhonda Washington (Jerome) of Manhattan, NY; her brothers, Thurman Farmer (Annie) and Calvin Allen of Wilson, NC; one uncle, Thomas Allen of Wilson, NC; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, her mother-in-law, Pocahontas Hall of Wilson, NC; five sisters-in-law, Nora Pender, AnnieMae Stagger (Teddy), Mary G. Stevens, Hattie Hall and Patricia Scott (Lester) all of Wilson, NC; three brothers-in-law, Roscoe Hall (Lisa) and Thomas Hall both of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Service celebrating her life will be held Saturday at 1 pm at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Steven Kent will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemtery.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 2148 Glendale Dr, Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
