Ernestine Newby Jones

Ms. Ernestine Newby Jones, age 73, of 312 Kenan Street, Wilson was called peacefully to her eternal rest on Monday, July 27, 2020.  Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 2 at 1:30 pm at the Tuskeegee Holiness Church, 624 Tuskeegee Street, Wilson.  The Rev. Donnie Ray Newby will officiate.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving and lasting memories are forever cherished by her only daughter, Annette Watson (Jerome); her father, Thomas Newby; five sisters, Hattie Romain Jones, Gerald Francine N. Jones (Robert), Deborah Ann N. Parker (Ronald), Angela N. Farmer and Sylvia N. Hinnant (Curtis); four brothers, Charles Newby, Rev. Donald Ray Newby (Diane), Jerry Newby and Michael Newby; three grandchildren, Crystal Williamson, Jaylin Richardson and Taviuson Taylor; two aunts, Hattie M. Martin and Daisy Bell Lucas; one uncle, Bernard Newby (Verdell), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
