Frederick Carter

Funeral service for Frederick Carter, age 55 of 607-A Lane St., Wilson, who passed on Saturday, June 17, 2012 at his residence will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle 1800 Lane St., Wilson. The Rev. Anthony Cox will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving memories are cherished by his loving wife, Lida Mae Carter of the home; his son, Frederick Jamaar Carter of Wilson, NC; his stepchildren, Stephanie Jones, Peaches Jones and Randell Lane all of Wilson, NC; three grandchildren, Saniya, Jamari and Aamoni all of Rocky Mount, NC; six sisters, Georgia Overstreet, Margaret Sharon Carter, Thelma Hodges, Phyllis Carter who was his caretaker, Renee Shaw and Pamela Carter all of Wilson, NC; three brothers, Jeremiah Carter, Calvin Carter (Melissa) and Steve Carter all of Wilson, NC; one uncle, Raymond Bell (Deloris) of Upper Marlboro, MD; two aunts, Gladys Tyson and Hazel Bell of Wilson, NC; one sister-in-law, Patricia Jones; two brothers-in-law, Woodrow “Junior” Jones and Chester Jones; two speical nephews, Jerry Carter and Demetrius “Meat” Carter; a host of other special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 pm to 8 pm at Evening Lights Holiness Church, Wilson. They will receive friends at other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
