George Terry Allen age 50 of 3003 Airport Blvd, Wilson passed away on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012.
George was born in Wilson, North Carolina to the late George Love and Estelle Winstead Allen. He was employed for many years at Firestone/Bridgestone as a custodian.
Service celebrating his life will be held Saturday at 4 pm at St.Paul Church of Christ 4009 Lake Wilson Rd, Wilson. Elder Lorenza King will officiate. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Left to cherish his loving memory are his siblings, Rose Allen of Raleigh, NC, Patricia Allen of Staten Island, NY, Wanda Allen of Wilson, NC and Michael Allen of Danville, VA; a special niece, Natarsha Allen of Raleigh, NC; six other special nieces and nephews,Denise Harrington (Johnny) of Garner, NC, Ramon Fleming and Kimberly Sharp (Keith) of Wilson, NC, Dionne Allen of Tarboro, NC, Shenkqui Price (James) and Gregory Allen of Raleigh, NC; twelve great nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his sister, Wanda Allen 211 W. Kenan St, Apt 205 Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
