George Best, Jr. age 62 of 1821-A Butterfield Ln, Wilson, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday at his residence. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday at 2 pm at Paul's Chapel AME Zion Church 3318 Appie Rd, Walstonburg. The Rev. Hubert Tyson, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Delight Cemetery, Walstonburg.
Loving memories are cherished by his wife, Ernestine Atkinson Best of the home; his stepmother, Dorothy Louitt of Sharpburg, NC; one sister, Gloria Best of Stantonsburg, NC; one brother, Jimmy Best of Rocky Mt, NC; a special aunt, Louvina Connor of Stantonsburg, NC; a special nephew, Shawnta Best of Stantonsburg, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence at all times and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
