Gervina Coretta Hawkins

Funeral service for Gervina Coretta Hawkins age 42 of 2623 Ridge Rd, Wilson who died Thursday will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at Light of the World Baptist Church 414 N. Pender St, Wilson. Rev. Sellars Jenkins will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Loving memories of Gervina are cherished by her husband, Christopher Maurice Hawkins of the home; two daughters, Gernina C. Barnes and Gerlisa C. Barnes both of the home; her mother, Julia A. Renfrow (Johnnie) of Wilson; father, Freddie R. Thomas (Brenda) of Wilson; her grandmother, Willie Neal Thomas of Wilson; one grandson, Jamar J. Barnes of the home; five sisters, four brothers, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 5 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there Tuesday from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
