Helen Barnes Atkinson was called home to her eternal rest on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Wilson Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 pm at Brown Chapel Free Will Baptist Church 1507 Hadley St, Wilson. The Rev. George Atkinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Minister Stacy Atkinson 3717 Stonehenge Ln, Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
