Helen Marie Barnes Melvin

Helen Marie Barnes Melvin, age 60, of 1708 Vineyard Dr., Apt. 4, Wilson passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017.  She was born in Wilson County, NC to Ruby Lee Council Barnes and the late John Lewis Barnes.  

Left to remember Helen with love are her daughters, Edbrena Shesandra Jenkins and Toeda Marie Jenkins both of Wilson, NC; her mother, Ruby Barnes of Stantonsburg, NC; three sisters, Faith Jacqueline Barnes of Rocky Mt., NC, Cherry Linette Barnes and Ruby Rena Brown both of Wilson, NC; three brothers, John Thomas Barnes, Kenny Dwayne Barnes and Gary Darnell Barnes all of Wilson, NC; one granddaughter, three grandsons;  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of her life will be held 12 noon Friday, October 13, 2017 at Carrons Funeral Home.  Revered John Sutton will officiate.  Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden. The family is receiving friends at 1117 Crawford St, Wilson and 301 Church St, Stantonsburg, NC.  Please remember the Melvin Family in prayer.
