Helen Marie Wells Blackmon age 72 of 203 N. College Ave, Apt. 3 Kenly, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Smithfield Manor Nursing Home.
Affectionately known as "Baby Sister", she was the daughter of John Williams and Margaret Vick Wells.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 pm at First Baptist Church 6161 Lucama Rd, Lucama. Evangelist Annie Bradberry will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home with the family receiving friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
