Henry Doc High

Funeral service for Mr. Henry Doc High age 85 of 1579 Broken Rd, Bailey who died Friday will be held Tuesday at 11 am at Union View Free Will Baptist Church 12167 Old Smithfield Rd, Bailey. Bishop J.N. Perry, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Bunn Cemetery.

Mr. High was the son of the late Henry and Mattie Finch High. He was born in Wilson County, North Carolina and was reared in Bailey, North Carolina.

Precious memories are cherished by his daughters, Deborah High, Rematha Evans, Evangelist Joyce Baker, Rosa Lee Williams (Bobby) and Minister Diane Artis (Donnie) all of Bailey, NC, Delois Barnes (John Henry) of Wilson, NC, Alfreda Hart and Doris Thompson of Spring Hope, NC; his sons, William Earl Thompson of Maryland, James Henry High (Elizabeth) and Eric Detroit Richardson of Spring Hope, NC; a Goddaughter, Barbara Jean Taylor of Wilson; one brother, Lumus Eatmon of Maryland; thirty-three grandchildren, forty-nine great greandchildren, twelve great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other rleatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Monday from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at other times at 7425 Liles Rd, Bailey and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
