Hubert Lee King

Funeral service for Hubert Lee "Pap" King age 72 of 8046 Wiggins Mill Rd, Lucama who died Thursday, July 15 will be held Sunday, July 25 at 2 pm at New Vester Missionary Baptist Church, Sims. Rev. Jeffrey Sims will officiate. Interment will follow in New Vester Church Cemetery.

Pap leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Marion King of the home; three sons, Darnell King (Varnetta) of Clayton, NC, Timothy King (Angie) of Wendell, NC and Sheldon King (Charmaine) of Kenly; one daughter, Articha King of Georgia; three sisters, Josephine Everette of Virginia, Annie Doris Wiggins of Rocky Mt, NC and Thelma Richardson of Wilson; one brother, Avon King of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren, Shania, Christain, Paris, Robynn and Concesphion; three brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 pm to 5:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive Saturday from 7 pm to 8 pm at New Vester Church. They will receive friends at all other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
