Funeral service for Irvin Marcus Cook, Jr. age 55 of 6506 Rock Quary Rd, Elm City who died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hosptital, Goldsboro will be held Sundayat 2 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. Elder Ida Raynor will officiate. Private interment will take place at a later date.

Irvin leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Janice M. Artis Cook of the home; his daughters, Angela Johnson and Tina Burton both of Wilson and Shante Cook of Philadelphia, PA; sons, Solomon Cook, George Wagger, Aaron Burton, Daniel Burton, Raymond Burton, Michael Burton and Phillip Burton all of Philadelphia, PA, Irvin Cook,III of Elm City, NC, Andre Miller of New Jersey and Oronde Miller of Richmond, CA; his father, Irvin Cook of Kingstree, SC; four sisters, Shelia Siarzynski of Greenwood, SC, JoAnn Murphy (Anthony) of Kingstree, SC, Thelma Goldwire, Darlene Gaines and Talana Mills of Philadelphia, PA; four brothers, Jonathan Cook, Joshua Cary, Robert Rowe (Kim) and Wayne Davis all of Philadelphia, PA; forty-one grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three Godsons, fourteen Godchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
