Funeral service for Mr. James Cleveland Artis, Jr. age 60 of 1714 Lipscomb Rd, Apt. 4A, Wilson who died Monday at his residence will be held Saturday at 11 am at St. Delight Missionary Baptist Church 341 Speights Bridge Rd, Walstonburg. Rev. W.D. Horne, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery Veterans Section.
Loving memories are cherished by his daughters, Debra Barfield of Stantonsburg and Karen Artis of Atlanta, GA; one son, James Artis, III of Ft. Bragg, NC; his stepfather, Jaohn C. Artis of Wilson, NC; three sisters, Thelma Williams (Jerry), Ruby Ham (Lemham) and Minnie Suggs all of Wilson, NC; his fatithful companion, Sharon Roberts of Wilson, NC; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be ehld Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm At Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
