James Edward "Red" Green

Graveside service for James Edward "Red" Green age 70 of 6344 Joyner Rd, Elm City who died Saturday, Dec. 25 at Wilson Medical Center will be held Sunday at 1 pm at Rest Haven Cemetery. Pastor Diane Barnes will officiate.
James was the son of the late Henry and Lottie McPhail Green. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward "Ill" Green, Fred Green and Henry Green.
He was employed with the Antique Red Barn for many years until his health failed.
Left to remember James with love are his wife, Hattie Mae Crumel Green of the home; two daughters, Ann of Kentucky and Barbara of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Tony and Thomas both of Kentucky; his sister, Cora Ruth (Wellington) Dawson of Greensboro, NC; one granddaughter, three great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, four nieces, Patricia, Jackie, Shelia and Judy; three nephews, Marshall "Pete", Ray and Terry; several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon to 1 PM at Carrons Funeral Home. They will assemble at the funeral home at 11:15 am in preparation for the service.
