Mr. James Louis Ricks, age 84, of 1751 Ricks Road, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned to eternal rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. A celebration of his life and legacy will be Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2 pm at Sandy Fork Missionary Baptist Church, 9197 Sandy Fork Rd., Wilson, NC. Entombment will be Monday, May 20, 2024 at 12 pm at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 S. US Highway 117, Dudley, NC.

A public viewing will be Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 1 pm to 2 pm at Sandy Fork Church. The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 1 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
