James Earl Vick

Funeral service for James Earl Vick affectionately known as "Tweetly-Bind" age 66 of 200 Fairview Ave, Wilson who died Thursday at his residence will be held Tuesday at 1 pm at Holy Temple Apostolic Holiness Church 3316 Airport Blvd, Wilson. Elder Henry Cox will officiate. Interment is to follow in Rest Haven Cemetery Veterans Section.

Tweetly-Bind was born in Wilson, North Carolina to the late Wildon and Mattie Vick, Jr. He served our country faithfully in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Tweetly-Bind leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Linda Vick of Louisville, KY; three daughters, Tyra Lynnita Vick and Trish Angela Vick both of Louisville, KY and Cathy Finch McCullers (Kelvin)of Wilson,NC; his son, James Earl Vick, Jr. of Louisville, KY;a very special friend, Shirley F. Whitted of Wilson, NC; one sister, Willie Vick Anthony (Willie) of Washington, DC; two brothers, Ernest Vick, Jr. of Elizabeth City, NC and Floyd Vick (Phyllis) of Youngsville, NC; five grandchildren, Tre Carey and Robert Jones both of Louisville, KY, Kyshia Finch, Kanijah Finch and Celise McCullers all of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Monday from 4 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
