Funeral service for Mr. Jerome Marcel Briscoe age 22 of 3720 Lear Ct, Apt. A, Wilson who died Friday, Sept. 23 will be held Saturday at 1 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle 1800 Lane St Ext, Wilson. Rev. David Hill will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Left to remember Jerome with love and thankfulness are his mother,, Flora Ann Briscoe of Kenly, NC; two sisters, Crystal Pettaway (Richard) of Tarboro, NC and Rashira Briscoe (Ebrima) of Kenly, NC; his brothers, Adrian Briscoe (Cassandra) and Maurice Blankumsee of Kenly, NC; his grandparents, Helen Darden of New York and Delorese Hodges (Clinton) of Washington, DC; a devoted aunt, Lillian Banks of Kenly, NC; his uncles, Richard Banks of Wilson, NC, James Banks (Priscilla) and Charles Banks (Sally) of South Carolina and Willie Banks of Kenly, NC; two nieces, Tatiana Pettaway and Amina Bah; two nephews, Chishard Pettaway and Aiden Briscoe; His Godmother, Margaret Ford; a foster mother, Ira Lee Bryant; a special cousin, Sylvia "Nanny" O'Neal of Washington, DC; a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
