Jerry Coleman

Mr. Jerry Coleman, age 62, of 8035 Wiggins Mill Rd., Lucama was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.  He was the son of Stephen Coleman and Jessie Knight Coleman.

Funeral service will be held 2 pm Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Atkins Memorial Tabernacle, 6740 Rock Ridge Sims Road, Sims, North Carolina.  The Rev. Otis Finch will deliver the eulogy, and Pastor Keith Davis will preside. Interment will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery, Wilson, North Carolina.

Precious memories are cherished by his daughters, Jessica Johnson (Leon) and Jerlyn Coleman of Wilson, NC; his stepsons, Emmanuel Brown and Chester Vick of Wilson, NC; five sisters, Mable Leach of Sims, NC, Minnie Coleman of Lucama, Neva Curry, Jessie Terrell and Gloria Terrell all of Wilson, NC; two brothers, Stephen Coleman (Barbara) of Lucama, NC and Henry Coleman of Kenly, NC; ten grandchildren, a special niece and caretaker, Nancy Moore of Kenly, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday, June 16 from 2 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home 325 East Nash St., Wilson.  The family will receive friends at the residence and at the home of his daughter, Jessica 1820 East Trail Dr., Wilson.  They will assemble at 1820 Eaast Trail Dr., Wilson at 1 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.
