Mr. Jimmie Barnes, age 84, of Wilson was called to eternal rest on Sunday, August 12, 2018. A service of triumph will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2 pm at Brown's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1507 Hadley St., Wilson. Bishop Willie Thomas will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Ms. Ruby Barnes, 2410 Adventura Lane, Wilson and will assemble there at 1 pm on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please remember the Barnes family in prayer during their hours of bereavement.
