Jimmie Dossie Wells, Sr.

Mr. Jimmie Dossie Wells, Sr., age 64, of 3501 Senior Village Lane, Wilson was called to eternal rest on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.  He was the son of William Dossie Wells and Mayella Grooms Wells.  Serving our country faithfully, Jimmie was a veteran of the United States Army.

A celebration of his life and work will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 1 pm at Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 371 Beauvue Rd., Elm City.  The Rev. Dr. Roderick Tillery will officiate.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery Veterans Section.

A viewing will be held Saturday, July 28 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the home of Linda Battle, 114 Garner St. SW, Wilson and will assemble there at 12 noon on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the Wells family in prayer during this very difficult time.
