Funeral service for John Junior Kenny age 53 of Charlotte, North Carolina formerly of Wilson, North Carolina who passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 will be held Saturday at 2 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Blackston will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
John is survived by his father and stepmother, John and Dollie Kearney of Wilson, NC; his siters, Maggie Barnes (Ernest), Martha Harris (Dwayne), Margaret Kearney, Gertrude Camp (Robert)and Dorothy Fate all of Charlotte, NC, Thelma Fate and Sarah Joyner (Jerry)of Wilson, NC; two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 2306 Wills St, Wilson, North Carolina and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
