Joseph Ideal Ricks, Jr.

Mr. Joseph Ideal Ricks, Jr., age 52, of 2512 Crystal Drive, Wilson was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 24, 2019.  A homegoing celebration will be held Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2 pm at St. Paul Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ,  4009 Lake Wilson Road, Wilson.  Bishop Chester Aycock will officiate.  Interment will follow in Sandy Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Stanhope, NC.

Loving memories are forever cherished by his mother, Annie Belle Williams Ricks of Wilson, NC; his brothers, Cedric Ricks and Derek Ricks; three aunts, Jacqueline Ricks of Worcester, MA, Mary Joyner of Bailey, NC and Theresa Williams of Fayetteville, NC;  three uncles, James L. Ricks (Jessica) of Wilson, NC, Reginald Ricks of Knightdale, NC and Al Williams of Raleigh, NC; his best friend, Leverne King Williams of Wilson, NC; a host of other relatives and friends.

An inspirational wake will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm at St. Paul Church.  The family is receiving friends at 2007 Worth Drive, Wilson and will assemble there at 1 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.  Please keep the family in prayer.  Condolences may be directed to carronsfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252.237.0120.  They may also be emailed to carronsfuneralhome@gmail.com.
