Joseph Lonnie Woodard

Funeral service for Joseph Lonnie Woodard age 67 of 613 Harper St, Wilson who died Saturday, August 6 at Wilson Medical Center will be held Sunday at 2 pm at Glory Baptist Church 502 SW Jordan St, Wilson. The Rev. Ricky Daughteridge will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Precious memories will forever be cherished by his wife, Margaret Cotton Woodard of the home; his daughter, Angela Judy Cotton of Wilson, NC; his sons, Samuel Earl Cotton of the home and Tony Ray Cotton of Rocky Mt, NC; five sisters, Annie Mae Woodard, Bessie Hardy, Nancy McAuthor and Betty J. Jackson (Donald) all of Wilson, NC and Betsy Hardy of Prince George, VA; his brothers, Chester L. Woodard of Elm City, NC, Bobby R. Woodard, Dennis J. Woodard and Lonnie James Woodard all of Wilson, NC; one aunt, Reva Mae Woodard of Wilson, NC; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home with the family receiving friends there from 7 pm to 8 pm. They will receive friends at other times at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
