Julia Thigpen Barnes

Funeral service for Ms. Julia Thigpen Barnes age 95 a resident of The Wilson House who died Wednesday will be held Sunday at 1 pm. Brother Kenneth Stokes will officiate. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Precious memories are cherished by her nieces, Annie Doris Thigpen of Bailey, NC, Francis Thigpen, Levonia Thigpen, Louise Thigpen and Janice Thigpen all of Fremont, NC; her nephews, Robert Thigpen of Sharpsburg, NC, James Robert Thigpen and James Earl Thigpen of Wilson, NC, Oscar Thigpen and Connie Lee Thigpen of Fremont, NC; a special great nephew whom she reared, Hue Miller of Boston, MA; a host of special great nieces, special great nephews, including Wade J. Thigpen and Larry Thigpen of Wilson, NC; other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at all times at 4781 Pine St, Bailey and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
