Katie Irene "T-Bird" Deans

Katie Irene Deans age 87 of 807 Moore St, Wilson passed away Saturday at Wilson Medical Center. Katie was affectionately known as "T-Bird".
Loving memories are forever cherished by her daughters, Minister Shirley Gardner of Wilson, NC and Patsy Massenburg (Bernard of Richmond, VA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 1 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle 1800 Lane St, Wilson, NC. Elder Sandy Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
A viewing will be held Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
