Lawrence Rudolph Mitchell

Funeral service for Lawrence Rudolph Mitchell will be held Sunday at 2 pm at Mary Grove Missionary Baptist Church Wiggins Mill Rd, Lucama. The Rev. Robert Wooten will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Lawrence was born to the late Wiley and Verell Dew Mithcell on October 23, 1940 in Wilson, North Carolina. He was employed with the Department of Transportation for many years as an auto mechanic. Lawrence was a member of the Rocky Blue Lodge #56 for thirty-eight years. His kind sweet spirit will truly be missed.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there from 6 pm to 7 pm. They will receive friends at 7215 Rock Ridge School Rd, Kenly and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
