Leon Rogers, 67, formerly of Wilson, was called to eternal rest Tuesday, April 26, 2016. A celebration of his life and work will be held at noon Saturday at St. Paul Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Frank Price Church Road, Wilson. Elder Donald Loftin will deliver the eulogy, and Elder David Sutton will preside. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, veterans’ section.
A viewing will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 E. Nash St., Wilson. The family will receive friends at the residence of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Rogers Sr., 5434 Second Road, Wilson, and will assemble there 11 a.m. Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
