Leroy Shelley age 84 of 1835 Butterfield Ln, Wilson passed away on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at Wilson Medical Center. A service celebrating his life and legacy will be held Saturday, Dec. 3 at 2 pm at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 1004 Railroad St, Wilson. The Rev. Steven Kent will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.
Loving memories are forever cherished by his wife, Mary Shelley of Wilson, NC; hisdaughters, Joyce Coley and Nancy Jones (Wayne) hiscaregiversof Wilson, NC; his son,Roscoe Hall (Lisa) ofEl Paso, TX; two brothers-in-law, William Hall (Mary) ofWilson, NC and Joe Parker of Buckhorn, NC; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends, including, Mr. & Mrs. David Hines whom he considered his son and daughter.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
