On Saturday, July 14, 2012 the spirit of Ms. Letitia Ann Rolle left this earthly realm to be with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Letitia was born in Brooklyn, New York to Ralph Rolle,Sr. and Virginia Jackson.
She spent many of her formative years in Wilson, North Carolina where she attended the Wilson County Public Schools graduating from E.T. Beddingfield High School in 1979. Letitia loved her family dearly and would do whatever was needed to help them. Her kind and nuturing spirit will truly be missed.
Survivors are her daughter, Tinija Rolle of the home; her sons, Orandi Rolle and Jumal Rolle of Wilson and Marcellus Holley(Alegra) of Fayetteville, NC; her mother Virginia Jackson (James) of Allendale, SC; her father, Ralph Rolle, Sr. of Brooklyn, NY; a stepbrother, Marvin Edwards, Jr. (Tonia) of Wilson, NC; a special sister, Angela Harris of Wilson, NC; four grandchildren, Jamar Rolle, Sincere Holley, Denyja Holley and Jumal Rolle, Jr.; two nieces, Princess Rolle and Ashleigh Grooms; one nephew, Evan Rolle; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Jerry Lee Winstead.
Homegoing service will be held Saturday at 1 pm at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle 1800 Lane St Ext, Wilson. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence, 1514 El Ramey Circle, Wilson and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
