Mr. Levi Napoleon Williams, age 61, of 4513 Chippenham Court, Wilson transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at LN Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street SE, Wilson. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. 

Loving and lasting memories are cherished by his children, Jontue’ Hinnant of Hartford, CT, Levi Williams, Jr. (Ashley) of Charlotte, NC, Denarras Edwards (Takisha) and Tyishia Edwards of Wilson, NC; his significant other, Sharon Mercer and children of Wilson, NC; his sisters, Delois Jones of Wilson, NC, Elnora Wiggins of Queens, NY, Alether Artis (Richard) of Durham, NC, Magdeline Atkins of Washington, DC and Audrey Mangum (June) of Wilson, NC; his brothers, James Williams of Raleigh, NC and Albert Williams (Adrene) of Fayetteville, NC; five grandchildren, Levi N. Williams, III of Charlotte, NC, Marquise Lucas, Zoe Edwards, Zee Edwards and Zai Edwards of Wilson, NC; one aunt, Barbara Nell Barnes of Bailey, NC; great aunt, Virginia Barnes of Kenly, NC; his uncle, Sammie Ray Barnes of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews and friends, including special friends, Linwood Jenkins, Reggie Mitchell, Randy Jones, Thaddeus Fuller, Sarah Artis and Calvin Woodard.

A viewing will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm at LN Forbes Original FWB Tabernacle. The family is receiving friends at 3919 Rasberry Drive, Wilson and will assemble there at 1:00 pm on Sunday in preparation for the funeral procession.
